One year anniversary of living in New York.

Looking back at pictures taken a year ago, of the place I used to live, reflecting upon the person I was, is such a peculiar thing.

I’ll always be Andrea Allen from Wichita, KS, and I am proud of that. But after “making it” a year in New York City, I feel like I’ve accomplished something great. I’ve done something that’s talked about in literature and movies. Something someone else does, but never you, noway.

I feel I’ve grown so much — that the experiences I have been lucky enough to have and the people I’ve been fortunate enough to call friends have changed me in a most amazing ways. I work with the most talented folks I’ve ever met on the coolest website in the history of the Internet.  And for all this, I am extremely grateful, humbled, and appreciative.

Thank you, everyone who has been a part of my life. Especially those of you who have been with me this past year. I am forever in your debt, as there’s absolutely no way I would have survived this fast-paced year without you.
